There was a serious accident during a bungee jumping in China.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in an adventure park located in Sichuan province.
During the event, a young woman warned that there was a problem with the safety system, saying "the connection is not secure."
Shortly after, she fell from the platform and dropped into the canyon, suffering serious injuries. Although she was taken to the hospital, she died on the way.
According to preliminary information, the incident was recorded in the park near Huayin on May 3, 2026. It is reported that the woman was connected to the system with a safety belt, but control was lost during the descent.
Following the accident, the adventure park's operations were temporarily suspended until May 10, and an official investigation was launched.
