In 2018, Den Bilzeryan, an Armenian-American gambler who was internationally wanted by "Interpol" at the line of Azerbaijan, has put forward his candidacy from the Republican Party to be elected to the US Congress.

Medianews.az reports, referring to "Qafqazinfo," that he will be a candidate from Florida's 6th district in the special elections to be held on November 3.

His opponent in the elections is "Republican," Jewish-origin Randy Fine, who has been representing Florida in Congress since 2025.

Also known for his anti-Semitic views, Bilzeryan did not hesitate to openly insult his opponent. He called Fine a "fat Jew" and accused his party colleague of placing Israel's interests above those of the US, thereby betraying the state.

Responding to the insults and accusations from his opponent, Randy Fine said that Armenians should not hold seats in Congress. The Armenian lobby in the US immediately took advantage of his statement and launched an attack against Fine, accusing him of "national discrimination."

In response to these attacks, R. Fine posted on his "X" account: "Armenians should not serve in Congress. Somalis should not either. Nor Guatemalans. Or — wait — Israelis either. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you should not serve in our country. We must pass the bill I proposed to stop the occupation of Congress by those with dual citizenship."

For your information, Bilzeryan, known in the US as a gambler and "Playboy" star, is also famous on Instagram for photos and videos with naked girls. He has nearly 30 million followers on Instagram and about 2 million on "X."

D. Bilzeryan obtained Armenian citizenship in 2018. Later, he came to the Azerbaijani lands that were under occupation at that time and fired at targets here with various weapons. A criminal case was opened in the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor’s Office regarding the incident. Considered as a suspect under Articles 228.3 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, carriage, or carrying of firearms, their components, ammunition, explosives, or devices by an organized group) and 318.2 (crossing the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan guarded by the state without proper documents or outside the state border control checkpoints by an organized group) of the Criminal Code, a court decision imposed preventive detention on him. He was put on the international wanted list through "Interpol."
