Iran is ready to negotiate and reach an agreement with the US side based on logic and principles.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, head of Iran's Judiciary, during a meeting with members of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary.
According to him, the Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, defended Iran's legitimate rights and the achievements made during the negotiations. However, the negotiations did not conclude successfully due to the different demands of the US side.
Mohseni Ejei stated that currently all forces, diplomats, and citizens in Iran are united in protecting the achievements made in all areas.
It should be noted that since no concrete results were achieved regarding the nuclear program between the US and Iran, on February 28, the US and Israel began military airstrikes against Iran, and since that day, Iran has been targeting Israel and US regional facilities with missiles and UAVs. Through Pakistan's mediation, a two-week ceasefire agreement was reached between the parties on April 7. On April 11, no agreement was reached during the talks held between the US and Iran in Islamabad. //Trend
