They will only be able to vote after they return to Armenia.

Citizens of Armenia who permanently reside abroad will be able to participate in parliamentary elections only if they are in the country.

This was stated by Seda Gukasyan, the press secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC).

She recalled that after the amendments made to the Election Code in 2012, Armenian citizens abroad will no longer be able to vote at polling stations located in embassies and consulates and can only exercise their voting rights within the country itself.

Exceptions include diplomats, military personnel on extended assignments abroad or studying, and their family members. Electronic voting is available for these groups.

According to the CEC, parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7, with 17 parties and two party blocs participating./Report
