The Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received information about a traffic accident on Kenar Dairavi Road in the Yasamal district of the capital, and a citizen being trapped inside a vehicle.
According to the information provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers from the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry were immediately deployed to the scene.
While assessing the operational conditions at the scene, it was determined that a traffic accident involving vehicles of the "Mercedes Sprinter" and "Shacman" brands had occurred and that the driver was trapped inside the deformed vehicle.
With the help of special rescue equipment, the rescuers freed the driver of the "Mercedes Sprinter," Orkhan Alijavad oglu Javadov, born in 1988, and handed him over to the emergency medical team.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the relevant authorities.
