“Newcastle” midfielder Sandro Tonali commented on the 3-2 victory over “Qarabağ” in the second leg of the Champions League playoff round.
Medianews.az, citing “Qafqazinfo,” reports that Tonali, speaking to UEFA, said they had difficulties against “Qarabağ”:
“Of course, it was a great start. Scoring 2 goals in six minutes is good. After that, the game became more open. Since the aggregate score was 9-3, it wasn’t easy, so continuing at the same pace was difficult. But the most important thing is to win and advance to the next stage.”
