How much did Azerbaijani oil become cheaper?

On April 9, the price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" fell to 120.44 dollars. The day before, a barrel of "AzeriLight" was sold for 140.68 dollars.

Medianews.az reports that on the world market, oil prices sharply increased amid the wave of military operations by the US and Israel against Iran since February 28. The ceasefire agreement reached on April 8 is tempering the prices.

In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil is taken at 65 dollars, with "AzeriLight" starting January at 65.71, February at 69.72, March at 79.60, and April at 132.35 dollars.

The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels. In January-February, including condensate, 4.3 million tons of oil were produced in the country, and crude oil and crude oil products worth 1.7 billion dollars were exported abroad.
