A bus carrying members of the Belarusian children's football team was subjected to a drone attack in Russia.
According to Medianews.az, the incident occurred in the Bryansk region.
The acting governor of the region, Yegor Kovalchuk, stated that the children were traveling from Gomel city, Belarus, to Gelendzhik city, Russia for rest.
According to Kovalchuk, a woman accompanying the team was killed. Six people, including four children, were injured. The injured were taken to a hospital and received medical care.
The Russian Ministry of Health announced that seven people were injured. According to the ministry, the condition of one of the injured children is serious.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the double-decker bus was hit by drones while moving on a highway in the Bryansk region.
There were 44 people on the bus in total. Twenty-eight of them are students of the children and youth sports school in the city of Rechitsa in the Gomel region of Belarus.
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the fact under the article of a terrorist act.
