US President Donald Trump stated that without the agreement reached with Iran, there could have been a "global depression" in the world.
Iran and the US have already agreed on the memorandum to be signed in Switzerland on June 19. It is expected that this memorandum will allow the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that after the memorandum is signed, Tehran and Washington should hold negotiations within 60 days for the preparation of the final agreement.
Medianews.az reports that Trump stated on June 17 that if Tehran does not comply with the terms of the agreement, Washington will reinstate strikes against Iran.
"This is a memorandum of mutual understanding. If they do not behave properly, we will immediately return to bombing them again."
Trump also denied the media reports about the establishment of a $300 billion private investment fund within the framework of resolving the conflict between the US and Iran.
He told journalists during the G7 summit held in France:
