According to the report of the Ministry of Energy, 6.6 million tons of oil were extracted in Azerbaijan together with condensate in January-March 2026.
Medianews.az reports that the official production was 50.8 million tons in 2010, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 44.5 million tons in 2008, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.2 million tons in 2023, 29.1 million tons in 2024, and 27.7 million tons in 2025.
In Azerbaijan’s 2026 budget, the price of one barrel of oil was taken as 65 dollars, with Azerbaijani oil branded "Azeri Light" starting January at 65.71, February at 69.72, March at 79.60, and April at 132.35 dollars.
The international coalition of exporters has set the daily production quota of crude oil for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
On the world market, oil prices sharply increased during the wave of military operations carried out by the US and Israel against Iran from February 28 to April 8.
