At Denver International Airport, a plane belonging to "Frontier Airlines" hit a pedestrian on the runway.
Medianews.az, citing Baki vaxti.az, reports that after the incident the plane stopped its flight.
In a statement issued by the company, it was stated that the Airbus A321 (flight number 4345) flying from Denver to Los Angeles had 224 passengers and 7 crew members on board.
As the plane was preparing to take off, it collided with a pedestrian on the runway: "Smoke emerged in the cabin and the pilots stopped the flight. Later, as a precaution, the passengers were safely evacuated using the direction lights."
The airport reported that emergency medical teams were called to the scene and passengers were evacuated to the terminal.
During the investigation period, the 17L runway will be closed to everyone.
