Colombian defender Kevin Medina, who parted ways with "Qarabağ," bid farewell to the fans and the club with an emotional message on his official "Instagram" account.
According to Medianews.az, the experienced footballer emphasized in his post that the years he spent at the Agdam representative were unforgettable for him:
"Today, I say goodbye to a club that has left a deep mark on my life and career. From the first day I arrived at 'Qarabağ,' I found incredible professionals who opened their arms to me, teammates who turned into friends, and passionate fans who supported us at every moment. Wearing this jersey and representing this logo was a great honor and responsibility for me. On the field, I always fought with respect and dedication."
Thanking the management, coaching staff, and club employees, the 33-year-old defender wrote special words for the fans:
"I especially thank the 'Qarabağ' fans who were with us and never withheld their support during both good and difficult days. I will never forget the love I received from you. Now it is time to start a new challenge. I leave with pride and gratitude for having my name written in the history of this great club. I wish 'Qarabağ' even brighter successes in the future. This club is historic! Thanks to everyone!"
It should be noted that Medina, whom "Qarabağ" transferred from Portugal's "Chaves" club in the summer of 2020, is expected to continue his career at Malaysia's "Johor" team.
