In the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia, law enforcement forces raided the apartments where Azerbaijani families live.
Medianews.az reports that actress Ruhiyya Yusifova informed "Qafqazinfo" about this.
According to her, late at night, a group of people in military clothing entered the house where her uncle Mərdan Əskərov lives: "They beat my uncle's son without any fault, gave him a shock. They took his mother, his pregnant wife and two children, and my uncle away. They destroyed the house, broke everything. Then they entered my uncle’s eldest son’s house and beat his wife and children."
R. Yusifova added that their relatives' phones were taken from their hands when they were taken to the police station. Most of them were released from there later. However, her uncle is still being held at the police station.
We have sent an inquiry to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the matter.
