A miner who was trapped under earth and rock piles for 16 days as a result of a landslide in Pakistan has been rescued.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred on March 31 in the Palo-Deri area of the city of Rustam.
The miner was trapped underground along with other workers. It was not possible to rescue nine others. After all the victims were removed, rescuers continued the search and found the man alive.
He was immediately taken to the hospital and is receiving medical treatment.
