The most effective way to eliminate the weakness and distraction that occur when waking up in the morning has been determined.
According to Milli.Az, a study published in the journal "Building and Environment" showed that the quality of waking up directly depends on the timing of natural light entering the bedroom.
Scientists compared 3 different waking methods in a laboratory setting. Observations conducted on young participants in the experiment proved that natural light entering the room just 20 minutes before the waking time is the most ideal means to activate brain activity. People waking up with this method feel more energetic and perform at a higher speed on attention-demanding tests.
One interesting point of the study is that very early light entering the room reduces sleep quality. Because long-term exposure to light causes frequent awakenings, which results in the person feeling tired. A short and moderate light exposure of 20 minutes naturally wakes the body without damaging the biological clock.
