A preventive detention measure has been chosen against a broker accused of fraud against a group of people in the Khazar district of the capital.
Medianews.az, citing "Qafqazinfo," reports that the Khazar District Court has issued a decision regarding 60-year-old Elkhan Abbasov, who took more than half a million manats from 10 people with the promise of documenting real estate and land plots.
Regarding the person against whom a case has been opened under Article 178 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, a four-month detention decision was made for the investigation period.
Investigation measures continue at the Khazar District Police Department concerning the facts.
It should be noted that Elkhan Abbasov is known as a real estate realtor (broker).
