The Azerbaijan national team composed of players under 17 has played its last match in the UEFA Development Tournament.
Medianews.az reports that the team faced the corresponding age group team of Pakistan in their third match.
The match, held at the "Namys" stadium located in Shymkent city of Kazakhstan, ended with a 1-0 victory for the Azerbaijan national team. The winning goal for the team was scored by Nazim Aliyev in the 77th minute.
Thus, the team led by head coach Aqil Nabiyev completed the tournament involving 4 teams with 5 points. The U-17 team previously faced the selections of Russia (0:5) and Kazakhstan (1:1, p. - 4:2).
