On April 30, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is sold for 122.32 dollars.
Medianews.az reports that this price is 57.32 dollars higher than what was foreseen in the state budget.
Since February 28, oil prices have sharply increased amid the wave of tension between the United States and Israel with Iran.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil was taken at 65 dollars; "AzeriLight" started January at 65.71, February at 69.72, March at 79.60, and April at 132.35 dollars.
The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels. The Ministry of Energy has indicated oil production including condensate at 6.6 million tons in the first quarter of 2026.
