Experts say that one of the main reasons clothes washed in a washing machine remain dirty is overloading the drum.
Medianews.az reports, referring to foreign media, that the load amount directly affects the washing quality. When the machine's drum is too full, the clothes cannot move freely, and as a result, the detergent and water do not reach all surfaces completely.
The drum should be such that clothes can move freely and a hand can easily move inside.
It is also noted that thick items such as towels and quilts become heavier when they absorb water and should be washed with a smaller load. Otherwise, the washing process does not work properly.
According to experts, overloading the washing machine causes both dirt and detergent residue to remain, and also leads to the device wearing out more quickly. Signs of this can be stains remaining on clothes and excessive wrinkles.
