By 2030, 10 new metro stations will be built and commissioned in Baku. This plan includes the extension of the purple line to Ağ Şəhər and the green line to the "Həzi Aslanov" station. The locations of the stations have also been selected and determined. The B8 station will be located in the north of Ağ Şəhər.
According to Medianews.az citing Khazar TV, transport expert Rauf Ağamirzəyev said that the final stage of the development of the purple line, which started operating in 2016, is its extension to Ağ Şəhər.
The expert stated that the B8 station will play a significant role in ensuring the comfortable movement of residents in the surrounding area and in eliminating traffic congestion.
According to "Bakı Metropoliteni" JSC, there are currently no markings at the site where the B8 station will be built. The station is planned to be constructed and commissioned by 2030. // Milli.Az
