Scientists have uncovered a new hidden factor that causes cancer

Simultaneous impairment of the heart, kidney, and metabolic processes in the body can become one of the main factors leading to cancer. Scientists have discovered that the chain-like failure of internal systems sharply increases the likelihood of malignant tumor formation.

Demokrat.az reports that this was stated in a study published in the journal "Circulation: Population Health and Outcomes."

Doctors have analyzed the dangers posed by the cardiorenal-metabolic syndrome (CKM) to human health. This syndrome combines high blood pressure, diabetes, overweight, cholesterol problems, and kidney failure. Researchers who examined data from approximately 1.4 million people determined that as these disorders deepen, the risk of cancer increases by 25-30 percent.

It has been found that when heart and kidney functions weaken combined with metabolic problems, a favorable environment is created in the body for the development of cancer cells. According to scientists, inflammatory processes and vascular changes are common risk factors for both cardiovascular diseases and oncological diseases. Therefore, controlling weight and regulating blood pressure are the most effective ways to simultaneously protect against several serious diseases.

In other words, if a person has both high blood pressure and problems with their kidneys and weight, this not only increases the risk of heart attack but also seriously raises the risk of cancer.
